Manufacturing with Recipes (BOM), Production and Job Work
How factories and workshops turn raw material into finished goods in ManagerBhai — with correct costing and zero manual registers.
Whether you stitch garments, pack spices or assemble furniture, the pattern is the same: raw materials go in, finished goods come out, and the cost should follow. ManagerBhai's Productions module handles exactly that.
1. Define the recipe
In Productions → Item Production Recipe, choose the finished item and list the raw materials and quantities needed to make one unit (your bill of materials). All recipes are listed in Recipes List.
2. Run production
Productions → New Production: pick the recipe and how many units you made. ManagerBhai consumes the raw materials from stock, adds the finished goods and carries the material cost across — so the finished item's cost is real, not a guess.
3. Track history and time
Production History lists every run. Item Production Time records how long items take, useful for planning and piece-rate pay.
Sending work outside (job work)
Many units send part of the work — dyeing, printing, embroidery — to another workshop. Record it in Outsourcing → Orders: material sent out, goods received back, and charges. The Outsourcing Dashboard shows what is still with each party.
Paying karigars by piece
Set up HRM → Contractors, define processes and Contractor Rates, then log completed work in Contractor Work. Their earnings follow automatically.
