Running a Retail Counter with the ManagerBhai POS
Barcodes, quick checkout, 80mm receipts and end-of-day cash — how to run your shop counter on the built-in POS.
The POS Terminal is built for speed at the counter, and because it uses the same items and stock as the rest of ManagerBhai, your inventory and books stay correct without any end-of-day re-entry.
Before the first sale
- Make sure your items have barcodes and sale prices (Inventory → View Items, or Item Prices for bulk updates).
- Connect a USB barcode scanner — it works like a keyboard, no drivers needed.
- Set your 80mm thermal printer as the default printer in your browser.
Making a sale
- Open Sales → POS Terminal (or top-bar + → POS Terminal).
- Scan items or type to search. Adjust quantity or discount if needed.
- Take cash / card / mixed payment, and print the receipt.
End of day
POS Reports shows sales by shift, payment method and cashier so closing the drawer takes minutes. Every past receipt is in POS Sales and can be reprinted.
Returns
A customer brings an item back? Record it in Sales → Sales Returns; the stock comes back and the refund is posted.
Tip: give cashiers a role that only allows POS. They get a clean, focused screen and cannot touch your accounts.
